Attached is a list of 120 Comcast Xfinity wireless hotspots in Grant County (Tyrone to Hurley). Comcast has opened these up for free access during the COVID pandemic. These could be used for patients to connect for telehealth encounters should they need Internet access or higher bandwidth.
Verizon Wireless is also providing at no cost 15GB of data or 15GB of additional data for Verizon Wireless customers. This can help in patients understanding that the data charges/needs may not be an issue for telehealth visits during the pandemic.
Both are offering these services until 5/31/2020. Should the pandemic continue past that date they might extend these services.
