Anyone may submit a referral form at any time. One of our Evaluation Coordinators will contact you within a few days to set up an appointment for a developmental evaluation for your child. The time from the referral date to the Individualized Family Service Plan is 45 days. Only children under the age of three are eligible for the FIT program. ATI provides FIT services to children within five counties: Catron, Grant, Hidalgo, Luna, and San Juan.
ATI provides hearing, vision, autism and developmental milestone screenings.
ATI provides a comprehensive multidisciplinary developmental evaluation (CME), which provides a report identifying your child's developmental age. The report provides the family with next steps and will be used to determine if your child is eligible.
Developmental Areas Being Evaluated Include:
- Cognitive
- Physical
- Communication
- Adaptive Behavior
- Social and Emotional Skills
Services intended to help children's families receive their early intervention services. Family Service Coordinators assist families with the development of the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) and oversee the coordination of all early intervention and transition services.
Transition services are included in Family Service Coordination. Your FSC will contact you after your child turns three years old to help you enroll in a new program of your choosing, such as a preschool or home visiting program.
